The Topeka Art Guild has supported local artists, art students and the arts for 93 years, making it one of longest running arts organizations in the United States.  All of our exhibits are free and open to the public. Our receptions, including First Fridays, draw a diverse audience from various backgrounds.  I am writing today because I know you appreciate the visual arts and the Topeka Art Guild needs your help.

Since 1916 the Topeka Art Guild has constantly served this community by making quality visual arts programs and services accessible to help build a thriving arts community that continues today. Our commitment is to reach out to those underserved community members and have created partnerships with area schools and community service agencies to further engage students to engage in the arts movement.  The Art Guild supports art students to access to educational programs and higher education through our scholarship program.

The Topeka Art Guild is an organization open to all people with a common goal to advance the visual arts. It is one of the few guilds in the country that has a public gallery and workshop (located in Fairlawn Mall).  We offer artists exhibiting space, art classes and coordinated activities for artists to meet and share.  The Topeka Art Guild is committed to broadening artists’ avenues for creative pursuits by striving to:

•          Encourage - the arts through collaboration and interaction
•          Educate - art workshops, lectures and discussion groups
•          Explore – members of all ages can come to broaden their creative experiences
•          Exhibit - forum in which the community can appreciate the visual arts through exhibits and community projects

Our patrons have always valued art and you can support the arts through collecting, attending shows, and making critical donations to support the Topeka Art Guild.
