Support the Topeka Art Guild

There are many ways to support TAG.

#1 Become an ACTIVE member

TAG is run by volunteers. And you don't have to be an artist to join. The art guild always welcomes new ACTIVE members. Many of our members have been a part of the guild for twenty years or more and work on various committees, display their art in the guild, or teach classes. If you want to help, we have ways you can! You can't have too many volunteers! Feel free to drop by the gallery and talk to the volunteer who is working that day or send us an email if you have questions about joining:: admin@TopekaArtGuild.org

#2 Donate

TAG is a 5-1(c)3 nonprofit organization. 100% of your contribution is tax deductible. DONATE

#3 Purchase Art!

Each purchase helps the Topeka Art Guild grow.

#4 Take part in TAG Fundraisers

We just finished a February HeART Fundraiser.

In September,  the Sertoma Duck Race  is a fundraiser that helps us and the Topeka community as well

In December, we offer art under $100 and it is always a very popular way to raise funds. We all have fun and enjoy the festivites of the season together.

#5 Take Classes!

While the main goal of any class offered at the Topeka Art Guild is to help artists at any level improve their art, a bit of the entry fee does come back to TAG. (And for a few of our classes, 100% of the money goes to TAG!)

Why donate to the Topeka Art Guild?

Our mission is to support and promote the visual arts and art education through public programs and exhibitions of original work.

     Your donations help us provide:

    • Gallery space so that high school students across our area can show their art in a real gallery. That is  affirming for beginning artists.    Pablo Picasso said: "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once (s)he grows up.
    • Space for artists to gather to freely learn from one another.
    • Classes for artists of all ages to learn from fellow artists, visiting artists and/or professors.
    • Annual scholarships to high school students so that they may pursue art as a career..
    • Awards to artists in juried competitions so that they can better market themselves and support themselves.

Art is not a thing, it is a way.  Elbert Hubbard
