Artists’ Show
2015 Prospectus
Eligibility:All artists who reside in Kansas are eligible to enter the show. All works of art (2D or 3D) must be originalcompositionand completed in the last 2 years. All entries must be Kansas themed and never shown at the Art Guild before.
Exhibition Dates: The Show will be on exhibit at our gallery from
September 30th December 5th Prizes: $300 - 1st Place, $200 - 2nd Place, $100 - 3rd Place, $100 - Peoples Choice
Entry day: Sunday, Sept. 27th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
Entries must be presented with an entry form and the entry fees paid to the Topeka Art Guild and Gallery at this time (unless prior arrangements are made).
Juror: Sheri Best from the Sabatini Gallery at the Topeka Library.
Entries: 2D entries must be appropriately framed or gallery-wrapped and have wire hangers properly secured on the back.
3D shall not exceed 48” in any direction, be pre-assembled and stable without outside support.
Artists will be notified of entries not accepted into the show within
5 days of entry day.
Entry fees: $15 (+ $30 non-members) for the first piece and $10 for each additional piece with a limit total of 3 pieces. Entry fees are not refundable.
Student fee is $5 per piece with a limit of 3 pieces.
Sales: All entries must be available for sale. The Art Guild will retain a commission
of 45% (30% for 12 hrs of volunteered time during the 2 month show).
Liability: While utmost care will be taken in handling of all art works entered, the Topeka Art Guild shall not assume liability for any loss and/or damage to art work entered. All persons working with this exhibition shall be held blameless for any and all liabilities arising from this exhibit.
Advertising: The Art Guild shall have the right to reproduce any work for the purpose of advertising on line, in our newsletter and in the news paper.
